Learn To Swim Program was created by Water Waves to help families with financial challenges to obtain swimming lessons for their children. Community members & companies donate funds to be distributed to families in need of swimming lessons. Every child should have the chance to learn how to swim. After years of working in the aquatics industry, we have heard from many families that are unable or can only provide a minimum lessons for their children. With prices rising for everything, we would like to continue to support these families. from 2021 to 2026, with the help of our sponsors, Water Waves helped raise over $20,000 and with obtaining swimming lessons.
This year we are looking for to sponsor’s For more children in 2027. We have families fill out a application and we have a meeting week to approve them for funds each case is handled initially as each case looks diffrent.
With the help of more sponsors, we hope to help more families this year. If you are a family who would like to apply for this funding, please email us your child’s or children’s name and contact information. If you are a family or business owner with questions about sponsorship, please contact Micaela at info@waterwaves.ca

Current available funds for learn to swim $2000.00
We have worked hard to provide funds for this program. Should you need help covering the cost of your child's lesson anyone is able to apply.
Please note that these funds does not cover the cost of pool drop in families will be responsible for paying the Penticton facility for their child's drop in fee each time on their scheduled lesson.
At Penticton Pool does have a program called life card this could allow you to have reduced fees or get a set amount of drop-ins free. For more information you can visit www.Penticton.Ca or email rec@Penticton.Ca
